Strathkelvin Writers' Group aims to develop and encourage all forms of writing by its members: fiction, non-fiction, poetry and children's writing.

Strathkelvin Writers Group was founded in 1982,
and celebrated its Silver Jubilee in September 2007.

Writers at any stage in their development, from the professional to the absolute beginner, are welcome. On some evenings members are invited to share their work with the group or can simply enjoy the many speakers in a friendly, active and informative atmosphere.

Strathkelvin Writers' Group meets every Tuesday between September and May at 7.30 pm in:

Access: From the mini roundabout, at the junction of Wester Cleddens and South Crosshill Road, take the exit, (Cleddens Court) behind the block of flats until you reach the Church car park. We use the car park entrance to get to the Leven Room.

Membership costs £35 (payable in two instalments if wished). If you would like to join, come along any Tuesday and give it a try.
